New Facility Treats Canines Like Royalty

Canine Empire Membership Office Opens in Chicago at Grand and Orleans

CHICAGO, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Unable to take a last minute vacation or meet friends after work? As a dog owner you'd like to have a flexible schedule, but your canine companion isn't so accommodating. Canine Empire wants to provide a solution.

Opening Summer 2006, Canine Empire is five times larger than any existing facility, a place "Where Dogs Rule" in a first class facility providing royal treatment for dogs. The 100,000 square foot Club for canines includes 20,000 square feet of outdoor space, an indoor heated swimming pool, monitored play groups, certified professional staff and veterinary technicians on site at all times, and 5x5 individual sleeping areas with video surveillance, providing Internet viewing and on-site monitoring.

This goes beyond boarding; Canine Empire is a new lifestyle for pets and owners. Owners get the flexibility of 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year pick-up and drop-off. The Club will offer unmatched amenities including a wellness and physical therapy center, obedience and agility training, and a grooming and style salon.

"Canine Empire is ideal for busy Chicagoans who love their dogs and want a 'second home' for them when they aren't available," said Ralph Musicant, Canine Empire CEO and owner of two Briards. "We're providing pet owners with this alternative: a club for their dogs. Canine Empire is not a kennel; it's a club with everything a club membership connotes. Dogs will have lockers (baskets) containing their favorite food, toys and bedding."

"Canine Empire is the best alternative for pet care that I've seen in my professional career," said Dr. Robert M. Andrysco, a highly regarded animal behavior specialist, author and Director of Canine Services at Canine Empire. "It will be a nurturing environment, much more than boarding. When pets are happy so are their owners."

Membership

Canine Empire is taking membership reservations for its Summer 2006 opening, offering a special initiation fee of $250 for a limited time, $650 in overall savings, to be held in escrow until the club opens.
