The resort is offering its guests a selection of wellness amenities, from water and air filtration to a specially engineered "sleep system" -- all available as portable components that can be combined to convert any guest room into a customized "Wellness Room." The conversion package is available for an additional $29 per night surcharge over the regular room rate, but general manager Roger Funkhouser said the service carries a money-back guarantee.
"If you don't feel healthier and more energized after spending a night (or longer) in the Wellness Room, Bayshore will refund the $29 surcharge," he said.
All the components of the Bayshore's Wellness Room package are designed to provide the best environment for a healthy, restful lifestyle. They include a sleep system consisting of a memory mattress, specially constructed pillows, magnets, mattress pad and comforter with far infrared ceramic fibers. A countertop water filtration system provides healthy drinking water, an air wellness system produces healthy, fresh (conditioned) air, and a shower system invigorates you with Vitamin C.
