CHICAGO, Dec. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — United Airlines today announced new daily roundtrip service between its Denver hub and Toronto — dubbed the “city of imagination” — provided by explus(SM), the United Express(R) regional jet service offering first-class seating. Service begins June 12, 2006.

“We are pleased to offer customers traveling between Denver and Toronto this new service,” says Sean Donohue, vice president-Operational Services, United Express and Ted. “Our explus service gives us the opportunity to respond to customer demand for a better regional jet service, while differentiating United’s commitment to provide quality and comfort to our customers.”

The explus service features state-of-the-art Embraer-170 regional jets, which offer United First(R) and Economy Plus(R) seating with up to five more inches of legroom than standard economy seating, premium snackboxes for United First customers on select flights, full-sized leather seats throughout, large overhead bins and spacious cabins.

Flights will depart Denver daily at 10:05 a.m. and arrive in Toronto at 3:06 p.m. Toronto flights will depart at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Denver at 3:54 p.m. The service will be operated by United Express partner Shuttle America. Flights are open for sale now.

Also in June, United will increase service between Denver and Vancouver with an additional daily flight, for three roundtrips daily. By offering service to Toronto, United continues to offer more flights between Denver and Canada than any other U.S. airline.
