United Express Expands Service from United's U.S. Domestic Hubs
New Daily Explus Service Between San Francisco and Edmonton, Alberta; Denver and Knoxville, Tenn., Begins Today
United Express Also Expands Its Service with New Routes and Added Frequencies from Chicago, Washington-Dulles, Los Angeles to Other Key Cities
CHICAGO, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Beginning today, United Express(R) brings its regional jet service, explus(SM), to new routes between San Francisco and Edmonton, Alberta; and Denver and Knoxville, Tenn.; offering customers the first regional jet service with three distinct seating options, including premium amenities of United First(R) and extra legroom of Economy Plus(R). In addition, United Express also expands its service at United's hubs in Chicago, Washington-Dulles and Los Angeles with new routes and added flight frequencies.

"These new routes and added frequencies further expand our service in major U.S. cities giving our customers even more travel options."
Customers traveling between San Francisco and Edmonton, Alberta; and Denver and Knoxville, Tenn.; will enjoy the comfort of explus beginning Feb. 8, 2006. The explus service is available from each of United's hubs and will serve 70 United Express cities by the end of February 2006. It offers customers three distinct seating options, complimentary premium snackboxes for United First customers on select flights, full-sized leather seats throughout, large overhead bins, spacious cabins, and, whenever possible, jet bridge access.
Also, beginning Feb. 8, 2006, United Express will expand its service between the following cities:
-- Los Angeles - Albuquerque, N.M. (new service three times daily)
-- Washington-Dulles - Daytona Beach, Fla. (new service two times daily)
-- Washington-Dulles - Myrtle Beach, S.C. (increased service to three
times daily)
-- Washington-Dulles - St. Louis, Mo. (increased service to four times
daily)
-- Palm Springs, Calif. - San Francisco (increased service to twice
daily)
-- Chicago - Daytona Beach, Fla.* (new seasonal Saturday service)
-- Chicago - Rapid City, S.D.* (new seasonal Saturday service)
*Service begins Feb. 11, 2006
In addition, beginning May 4, 2006, United Express will launch its new service twice daily between Los Angeles and Boise, Idaho. Tickets are now on sale.
