United Makes it Worth Your Miles to Take Shorter Trips

Mileage Plus members can take shorter trips using up to 40% fewer miles on travel now through Feb. 28, 2006

CHICAGO, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — United Mileage Plus(R) members don’t have to rush to take advantage of the Saver Award offer this year. Now extended through Feb. 28, 2006, United customers can travel with as much as 40 percent fewer redeemable miles than usual, to get a United Economy(R) Saver Award ticket. Only 15,000 redeemable miles gets members a roundtrip Saver Award ticket in United Economy, which normally costs 25,000 miles.

For members interested in flying United First(R) or United Business(R), only 30,000 miles are required for a roundtrip Saver Award ticket normally costing 40,000 miles. The offer applies to qualifying travel booked on united.com* within the 48 contiguous states and between the U.S. and Canada nonstop flights more than 750 air miles each way, on United, United Express(R) and Ted(SM).

“Since first announcing this offer in July, we’ve seen tremendous response from our Mileage Plus customers.
