Snow Bunnies Hit the Slopes, Sun Birds Catch Some Rays with United’s New Winter Service

Service includes Denver-Knoxville, Tenn.; Washington Dulles-Daytona Beach, Fla.; and Chicago O’Hare-Tucson, Ariz., and Palm Springs, Calif.

CHICAGO, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — United Airlines (BULLETIN BOARD: UALAQ) today announced new service in time for winter’s popular escapes — both going to and away from the cold weather. New service between Denver and Knoxville, Tenn. — so southerners can hit the Colorado slopes — will be offered on explus — the United Express(R) line featuring three classes of seating on state-of-the-art Embraer-170 (70-seat) and Canadair RJ-700 (66-seat) regional jets. Travelers from the nation’s capital will be able to head to Daytona Beach, Fla., on United Express’ new 50-seater service from Washington Dulles. And weather-worn Chicagoans can escape to sunny Tucson, Ariz., or Palm Springs, Calif., on United’s reinstated seasonal service between its Midwestern hub and these Western cities. All service begins Feb. 8, 2006.

— The Denver-Knoxville roundtrip service will be operated by United
Express partner Skywest Airlines using Canadair RJ-700 aircraft. This
explus service will depart daily from Knoxville at 9:05 a.m. with a
return flight from Denver at 6:35 p.m.*

— The Washington Dulles-Daytona Beach service will be operated by United
Express partner Mesa Airlines on CRJ 50-seat aircraft. This service
will depart daily from Daytona Beach at 9:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., with
return flights from Washington Dulles departing at 9:00 a.m. and
7:20 p.m.

— The Chicago-Palm Springs service will be operated on United A319
aircraft. Palm Springs-bound flights will depart Chicago O’Hare daily
at 10:25 a.m., with a return from Palm Springs at 1:42 p.m.

— The Chicago-Tucson service will be on United B737-300 aircraft. This
service will depart Chicago O’Hare daily at 5:20 p.m., with a return
from Tucson at 7:35 a.m. As of April 2, 2006, the Tucson flight will
change to a 7:00 a.m. departure. This service will conclude on
May 3, 2006.

All service is open for sale. United guarantees customers will find the lowest fares without any booking fees on united.com. Customers who book and fly a paid, qualifying roundtrip flight by Dec. 31, 2005, through united.com can earn 1,000 bonus miles.**
