US Airways Rolls Out New Vacations Product

Upgraded Program Replaces America West Vacations, Generates New Jobs, and Offers More Vacation Products Through Web, Phone and Travel Agents

TEMPE, Ariz., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — US Airways (NYSE:LCC) announces that as part of its recent merger, America West Vacations and US Airways Vacations will combine to offer customers the best of both products and one-stop vacation shopping to more destinations than ever. To make vacation shopping even easier for customers, features the new Low-Fare Finder fare-search grid — making US Airways the only airline to allow customers to easily search within a range of several days for the lowest-priced package.

The new, farther-reaching US Airways Vacations offers customers one convenient place to book vacation packages to dozens of destinations, including favorites in Las Vegas, Florida, the Caribbean*, Hawaii, Europe*, Costa Rica, Arizona, Mexico, and many more. As a result, US Airways anticipates higher volume and plans to add 40 more customer service jobs to its team of aviation professionals.
