US Airways Offers Sale Fares to Florida as Low as $98* Roundtrip

ARLINGTON, Va., April 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — US Airways is offering special sale fares for Florida travel from most of its U.S. and Canada cities for three days, with fares starting at $98* roundtrip.

Under this sale, tickets must be purchased by April 20, 2005, and travel must be completed by June 15, 2005.

*Taxes and fees: Fares shown are valid for purchases made at Tickets purchased through US Airways telephone reservations are $5 higher. Tickets purchased at US Airways airports or city ticket offices are $10 higher. Fares do not include a federal excise tax of $3.20, which will be imposed on each flight segment of the itinerary — a flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Fares do not include the September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 per itinerary. Fares to Canada do not include a federal immigration fee of $7 per roundtrip, Canadian airport fees of $13 per roundtrip and the Canada Air Traveler Security charge of $10 per roundtrip. Fares do not include up to $18 in airport passenger facility charges where applicable.

Sale fare requirements: Tickets must be purchased at least seven days in advance of travel, within 24 hours of making the reservation, and no later than April 20, 2005. A minimum one-night stay is required, depending on the market. Fares shown are valid for travel Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

After the initial reservation, cancellations or changes are permitted for up to 24 hours; after 24 hours, tickets become nonrefundable. If the entire reservation is canceled on or before the scheduled date of travel, the ticket will retain value and can be used toward another nonrefundable ticket less a $100 administrative fee, up to one year after its original issue date. New travel must originate within one year from the date of issue. Any subsequent changes to the exchanged tickets will incur at minimum an additional $100 fee. If the reservation is not canceled on or before the original travel date, the entire ticket will have no further value. Tickets are non-transferable. Seats are limited and may be sold out on some flights or dates or during holiday periods. Lower fares may be available in these markets. Fares are not available in all markets.
