This laid-back, jewel-of-a-community presents a distinct selection of activities to engage a multitude of interests. From fine-dining and wine tasting, spas and pampering, to seasonal activities like hiking, biking, golf, skiing and hunting, Walla Walla is the ideal location for an easy, 2-day get-away. Chef Mike Davis of 26brix restaurant located in downtown Walla Walla, has linked a group of hospitality partners to offer three fabulous packages that provide an array of activities, but are definitely food and wine focused. Guests will stay 2 nights in one of 3 luxurious suites (*Ravishing Rose, Clearly Crystal, The New York Beauty) at the Maxwell House Bed and Breakfast On day 1, you’ll enjoy a half-day winery tour followed by dinner at the Creektown Café, a Walla Walla favorite, offering a casual tribute to the local products of the area’s farm, ranch and wine community. The next morning, after a delicious breakfast served in the dining room or in the backyard, bikes will be loaded and you’ll be dropped off at the head of the Mill Creek Trail, where you can enjoy the sites and sounds of a ride to Bennington Lake. Enjoy a leisurely ride back toward Rooks Park for a picnic lunch. After lunch, you can check out downtown Walla Walla for a little wine tasting, shopping or listen to live music in Heritage Park.
