Wines of Chile to Present at Boston Wine Expo
Michael Green to Conduct a Seminar 'Colchagua to Casablanca: The Next Generation of Chilean Wines'
NEW YORK, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Wines of Chile will feature ten of Chile's top wineries at the 15th Annual Boston Wine Expo on January 28-29, 2006.
"We are looking forward to presenting many of our premium wines in Boston. These wines represent varietals from an array of regions throughout Chile and demonstrate the high quality and diversity of our wines," explained Ricardo Letelier, Managing Director of Wines of Chile.
In addition to tasting more than 50 types of wines from ten producers in the Wines of Chile section of the pavilion, visitors will have an opportunity to learn about some of Chile's most exciting wines from Michael Green, Wine & Spirits Consultant to Gourmet magazine. The noted educator, writer and consultant will be conducting a seminar in which the class will taste eight wines, ranging from best value wines to premium wines from various valleys throughout Chile. The seminar, "Colchagua to Casablanca: The Next Generation of Chilean Wines" will be held on Saturday at 1:30 PM.
"In my opinion, Chile is a sleeping giant in terms of the quality, diversity, and value of its wines," said Green. "The region is home to some of the most thrilling and tasty wines in the world today."
