ASCAP Announces Artist Line-Up for 2006 Sundance Film Festival Daytime Music Café

Brazilian Girls, Rodney Crowell, Judy Collins, Imogen Heap, Bruce Hornsby, Michael Penn, Sharon Stone and Rufus Wainwright Among Featured Performers

NEW YORK, NY — (MARKET WIRE) — 01/05/2006 — ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) is pleased to announce the artist line-up for the daytime programming at the Sundance Film Festival Music Café during the 2006 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The Music Café is located at The Star Bar, 268 Main Street. Daytime performances, produced by ASCAP, will be open to Festival credential holders from January 20 – 28, 2006. Performances will take place each day from 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Friday, January 20).

For the eighth consecutive year, ASCAP will present an exciting and dynamic mix of promising up-and-comers, established and distinguished artists from across the musical spectrum. This year’s featured performers include 2 Foot Yard, Athlete, Augustana, Bird York, Brazilian Girls, Judy Collins, Rodney Crowell, Mike Doughty, Schuyler Fisk, Inara George, Darren Hayes from Savage Garden, Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, Imogen Heap, Kristin Hoffmann, Bruce Hornsby, Chris Janson, Lyfe, Margot & the Nuclear So & So’s, Michael Penn, The Persephone’s Bees, Robert Post, Roberto Poveda, Martin Sexton, Darrell Scott, Sharon Stone & Friends, Rufus Wainwright, The Weepies, and Musicians from Wristcutters: A Love Story.
