AirTran Airways Launches 48 Hour Sale

Fares to/from Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Philadelphia on Sale

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today announced that for two days, January 25 and 26 only, all fares to and from Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Philadelphia are on sale. Fares start as low as $39 each way. These special fares are available for purchase January 25 and 26, 2005, and are good for travel through May 25, 2005. Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or a Saturday night stay. All fares are one-way. All fares are non-refundable, and a $50 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase plus any applicable increase in airfare. Ten-day advance purchase required. Tickets must be purchased by January 26, 2005. Travel to/from Ft. Lauderdale, Ft. Myers, Miami, Orlando, Sarasota/Bradenton, Tampa and West Palm Beach must be complete by March 2, 2005. Travel to/from all other markets must be completed by May 25, 2005. After March 2, 2005, fares are not valid on Sunday. Seats are limited, subject to availability, and may not be available on all flights. Blackout dates are as follows: February 18, 19, 21; March 25, 28; and April 3, 2005. Fares to Jacksonville are not valid February 2, 3, 4, and 5 and fares from Jacksonville are not valid February 7, 8 and 9, 2005. Fares to Gulfport/Biloxi and New Orleans are not valid February 3, 4, 5, 2005 and fares from Gulfport/Biloxi and New Orleans are not valid February 9, 10, 2005.
