PHOENIX, April 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — America West Airlines (NYSE:AWA) , the nation’s second largest low-cost carrier, announces the start of its nonstop service between Las Vegas and Pittsburgh. The new route, which began service on April 3, 2005, provides one-stop connecting service in Las Vegas to 41 destinations spanning North America including the Oregon cities of Eugene and Medford; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Spokane, Wash.; and Vancouver, Canada.
