American One of First Major Airlines to Offer Service for Passengers Connecting to Other Carriers

Flight Check-In at now makes it easy for domestic e-ticket passengers with interline connections on eligible carriers to check in online up to 24 hours prior to departure and print boarding passes, as long as the flight originates on American, American Eagle or AmericanConnection. Previously, customers with connections to other carriers were required to check in for each carrier separately and had to do so in person at the airport.
