The (Chocolate) Chips Will Fly at Wisconsin State Fair

Midwest Airlines Activity Stage to Feature Travel Events and Family Entertainment

MILWAUKEE, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Stop by the new Midwest Airlines Activity Stage at this year’s Wisconsin State Fair and you’ll see everything from performing canines to wrist wrestling and fiddling competitions to a cookie bake-off. And if you join in or sign up for the airline’s sponsored contests and giveaways, you could win a case of chocolate chip cookies, roundtrip tickets, frequent flyer miles or the grand prize, a two-day Midwest Airlines Vacations package to Orlando for two. Midwest Airlines earned its reputation as “The best care in the air” by providing passengers with impeccable service and onboard amenities, which include its hallmark baked-onboard chocolate chip cookies on most flights.

The Midwest Airlines Activity Stage is located in the Exposition Center and will offer both travel events and family entertainment throughout the Fair, which runs August 4-14. A typical day may feature an appearance by 2005 Fairest of the Fairs Susan Orth, a live broadcast by News/Talk 1130 Steve “The Homer” True, an annual Fair contest such as the popular Bench Press/Deadlift competition or a performance by Trinity Irish Dancers. Midwest Airlines’ events will highlight the airline’s onboard amenities and travel programs.

“We are delighted to be part of this year’s Wisconsin State Fair as a Blue Ribbon sponsor,” said Scott R. Dickson, Midwest Airlines senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “We are pleased to provide an additional entertainment venue and to have the opportunity to introduce our unique travel services to those visiting the Fair from throughout the state and country.”
