The Fiesta Continues: Frontier Adds New Service Between Puerto Vallarta and Kansas City

Second Mexico Destination From Kansas City Further Strengthens Frontier’s Position as Carrier of Choice to Mexico

DENVER, June 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ:FRNT) has received approval from the Department of Transportation (DOT) to fly non- stop service from Kansas City (MCI) to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (PVR). With U.S. government approval now in hand, Frontier is ready to welcome passengers to reserve seats on its new service beginning Thursday, June 30, 2005 with introductory fares of $139* each way. This service commences December 17th, 2005. Frontier will offer three flights each week with operations on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. With the new service, Frontier will offer Kansas City passengers:

* Six daily flights between Denver and Kansas City
* Three flights each week between Kansas City and Cancun, Mexico
* Three flights per week between Kansas City and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
* Connections beyond Denver to 18 Western Cities, Anchorage, and four additional Mexican cities (Cabo San Lucas, Cozumel, Mazatlan, and

To celebrate the new service to Puerto Vallarta, Frontier will offer special introductory fares as low as $139* for off-peak travel. All sale fares shown are one-way, however, round-trip purchase is required and tickets must be purchased by 10:00 p.m. MDT, July 27, 2005 for travel between December 17, 2005 and March 8, 2006.


Service to Puerto Vallarta operates on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Off-peak travel is on Tuesdays. Fares are slightly higher other days of the week. Tickets must be booked and paid for by 10:00 p.m. MDT 7/27/05 or within 24 hours (whichever comes first) for travel from 12/17/05 through 03/08/06.

Maximum stay in Mexico is 120 days. Fares do not include Security Surcharges of up to $10 roundtrip, passenger facilities fees of up to $18 roundtrip, the September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 roundtrip, or fees of $3.20 per segment. A segment is defined as one takeoff and one landing. Federal International Air Transportation Taxes of $28.20 roundtrip or foreign departure taxes, customs and immigration fee, airport improvement and health inspection fees and tourism fees combined for up to $70 are not included in this fare.

Seats are limited and certain flights and/or days of travel may be unavailable at these prices, especially during busy travel periods. Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, but may be reissued for a $100 change fee plus any applicable difference in fare.
