Moto California Tours Invites Motorcyclists to See California While Benefiting Its State Parks’

Save Gas, Ride Motorcycles and Help Preserve Our State’s Beauty

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — (MARKET WIRE) — 08/29/2005 — Answering the call of the road never sounded so good, according to Mark Bisaha, owner of Moto California Tours, who announced today a Southern California tour for motorcyclists to benefit the California State Parks Foundation.

“California’s state parks are treasures to preserve,” said Bisaha, a Laguna Beach resident who is organizing the ride that features all kinds of terrain including twisting mountain ridge roads, smooth rolling foothills and cruising along the Pacific Coast. “While we’re riding through some of the most incredible scenery, we’ll be helping the State Parks Foundation protect that scenery for future generations.”

The ride, scheduled for October 7-10, will host up to 30 participants and includes hotel accommodations, breakfasts, dinners in unique local restaurants, handcrafted routes, and guide services.

– October 7-10: Southern California ($429 per person, double occupancy. Reservations accepted through Sept. 14, 2005.) Note: Other rates apply for passengers or solo riders.

According to Elizabeth Goldstein, President of the California State Parks Foundation, “The proceeds of this ride will help the effort to maintain and protect State Parks’ natural beauty. Those interested in becoming more involved can do so by joining the California State Parks Foundation.”
The California State Parks Foundation is the only statewide non-profit membership organization dedicated to protecting, enhancing and advocating for California’s 278 natural, cultural and historic state parks. The Foundation is the independent voice for State Parks. To date, the Foundation has contributed more than $120 million in support of state parks.

Bisaha recently founded Moto California Tours, allowing him to build a business around his passion: motorcycle riding. Bisaha’s riding career started when he was 14 years old with a series of three mopeds. His first street motorcycle was a Kawasaki 250 Ninja, then a Yamaha FZR600 and now he rides a Yamaha YZF1000 and has traveled more than 250,000 miles on two wheels. He also enjoys self-contained motorcycle camping, and uses his motorcycle for everyday transportation.
