AirTran Airways Offers Convenient Payment Option for Corporate Customers

ORLANDO, Fla., June 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today announced that the airline now accepts travel payment by The Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) at all points of sale including UATP, the world’s first corporate travel payment system, can be used by individual business travelers, corporate travel departments and travel agents.

AirTran Airways’ expanded service allows for online bookings by corporate travelers with all UATP cards, which are issued by 15 airlines and accepted by more than 200 carriers as a form of payment for the purchase of air and rail tickets.
